Mateboho is an admitted Advocate at the Western Cape High Court and the High Court and Court of Appeal of Lesotho. She has been recognized by Legal500 as one of Africa’s Top 100 lawyers of 2015.
She has 16 years legal experience, of which 10 were in commercial corporate legal. She has worked on various mergers & acquisition deals across the African continent, as well as Australasia.
Mateboho played a significant role in the David Jones deal, which at the time (2014) was South Africa’s biggest retail acquisition. She has managed medium to large legal teams at top JSE listed companies. She has experience in financial services, retail as well as FMCG and Manufacturing,
She holds a BA Law, PGD (Tax), LLM (Commercial Law), PGD (Commercial Law) and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. (LLD) at the University of Cape Town. She is passionate about Climate Change issues as well as workplace transformation and empowerment in South African corporates.
