Cherine Hoffman is a multi-stream lawyer with expertise in corporate, commercial, construction, logistics, mining and risk management. She has over ten years’ cross-border experience involving South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana, Saudi Arabia, India and Indonesia.
Cherine has received training at Hogan Lovells, a top tier law firm, and listed companies (Barloworld Logistics as Senior Legal Counsel and MCC Mining – A Division of Eqstra Holdings as Head of the Legal Department).
She is a director of two companies, viz. CH Legal Consulting (Pty) Limited and CAPPIM (Pty) Limited. CH Legal Consulting (Pty) Limited specializes in Corporate, Commercial, Logistics and Construction Law, and CAPPIM (Pty) Limited specializes in Strategic Enterprise Risk Management and Sustainability Solutions.
As executive director of CH Legal Consulting and CAPPIM, she attends to the day to day affairs of both companies. She also attends to all the legal matters as well as marketing of the two companies (including LinkedIn, websites and brochures).
Her expertise lie in national and international projects including inter-alia advising, consulting, drafting, negotiating and implementing complex corporate and commercial documents and agreements, relating to new and existing projects and services, and including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, supply chain management (3PL & 4PL), mining matters and all related agreements, regulatory compliance (Companies Act, King 4, Tax, Labour), risk management, due diligences, and projects and tenders.
She holds LLB (Cum Laude), LLM (Tax) and a Post-graduate certificate in Mining.
